Founder & Pelvic Floor PhysiotherapistMaggie is a Registered Physiotherapist based in Nanaimo, BC with a speciality in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. Maggie graduated from UBC with a degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. She worked for one year as a clinical kinesiologist before heading to Glasgow, Scotland to complete her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. She played varsity volleyball for one year during her schooling in the UK. Maggie has a special interest in treating female athletes and pelvic floor conditions, especially the peri natal and post natal community. In her spare time, Maggie likes to run, mountain bike, hike big mountains, play beach volleyball, and explore new trails with her Bernese mountain dog, Kai, who is also a clinical dog therapist.

Kinesiologist
Hanna Harrison graduated from Camosun College with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in June 2023. Being a new grad she is excited to gain experience in this field of work, and has a lot of interest in chronic disease management & exercise rehabilitation. Over the last few months she has been working as Physical Therapy Assistant, helping and supporting clients through the rehabilitation process. She is currently in the process of obtaining her exercise physiologist certification (CSEP-CEP).
Hanna is new to the world of pelvic health and very interested in gaining more experience and knowledge in this line of work. In school she focused many of her assignments on exercise rehabilitation for pre & post partum women as she found it a very interesting field of study.
Vancouver Island born and raised, Hanna has grown up in both Victoria and the Cowichan Valley. She plans to build up her career here on the island and will always call this place home. She has always lived a rather active lifestyle and was heavily involved in dance as a child, she mainly focused on Highland, Irish and ballet. In her free time she enjoys travelling and getting outdoors. She loves to hike, paddle board, and explore the west coast.

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist
Janice is a graduate of the Master’s of Physical Therapy program at UBC, and prior to that completed a Bachelor’s of Science and Master’s of Kinesiology. Janice has completed post-graduate courses in Manual Therapy, IMS/ dry needling, and clinical Pilates. She has pursued further training in Pelvic Floor rehabilitation, which allows her to treat conditions such as incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic pain in females. Vestibular rehabilitation is also a strong area of interest for Janice, with experience in treating BPPV, vertigo/dizziness, concussion, and balance deficits.
Janice’s interest in Physiotherapy stemmed from her own experience of sport injuries and rehab throughout her life, as well as a strong desire to empower individuals to move better, feel better, and live better. She integrates the principles of Pilates into physiotherapy to guide her clients in bringing more awareness to muscle activation and control during movement. Her individualized treatments include a mixture of manual therapy, dry needling, patient education, and exercise prescription.
In her free time, Janice is busy chasing after her two young kids and dog. She will also likely be planning her next travel adventure somewhere in one of the seven continents!

Registered Clinical Counsellor
Liz Baerg(she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a Master’s in Counselling. Liz brings over 20 years of experience supporting new moms, teens, families, and individuals navigating life transitions or barriers to employment. She offers counselling for youth, adults, and couples, and believes therapy can be a meaningful space for anyone—whether you’re exploring a new stage of life, working through grief or trauma, or simply seeking a deeper connection with yourself. Liz’s approach is warm and grounded in curiosity, focusing on building a deeper connection with oneself and one’s body. She believes therapy can be a powerful space for healing, whether you’re processing trauma, adjusting to a new phase of life, or navigating physical challenges. Drawing on her extensive background in supporting new moms and individuals facing health-related transitions, Liz collaborates with clients to tap into their inner strengths and move toward a life of greater balance and vitality.

With a wag of her tail and a gentle nuzzle, Kai provides a welcoming presence, helping to create a warm and supportive environment for all who visit our clinic.

Athletic Therapist
Lucas is a graduate from the Athletic and Exercise Therapy (BAET) program at Camosun College in Victoria B.C. Lucas has experience working with a range of athletes, from the weekend warrior up to national level rugby players. You will find Lucas using his knowledge of rehabilitation through a range of manual treatment and exercise therapy. Lucas grew up snowboarding and playing competitive lacrosse, through which his love of sport and physical activity, as well as personal experience with multiple injuries led him to pursue Athletic Therapy. Lucas saw the value of exercise therapy first hand and wants to help everybody get back to their full potential. Lucas works in a goal-oriented style helping you get back to sport or just every day life as quickly and safely as possible. Whatever the end goal, he is there to help along the way. Lucas has done continuing education in male pelvic health in order to to better treat males with pelvic floor dysfunction.

Massage Therapist
Michaela recently graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC. With a background in both massage therapy and accounting, Michaela brings a unique blend of care, organization, and attention to detail to her practice. Originally from the Lower Mainland, she is passionate about wellness and helping others feel their best through intentional, client-centered care.
During her time in the clinical internship program at WCCMT, Michaela developed strong hands-on skills in Swedish massage, myofascial release, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and sports massage. She has experience supporting clients with a wide range of conditions including chronic pain, stress, and musculoskeletal injuries.
Prior to her massage therapy training, Michaela worked in veterinary care and pet services, where she developed a deep sense of compassion and a calm, confident presence—qualities that now enhance her massage practice. Michaela’s treatment style is thoughtful and relaxing, with a focus on helping clients feel at ease while addressing their specific concerns. She is committed to creating a safe and supportive space for healing and body awareness.
Outside of work, Michaela enjoys spending time with animals, exploring nature, and staying active in her community.

Acupuncturist
Caila has been successfully practicing acupuncture for the past years. Caila completed 2000 hours of study and training in Acupuncture in ChinaTown Toronto at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine Academy. Caila first started treating with acupuncture during the pandemic. This was the most formative and confirming experience that acupuncture was her calling. Treating the public during such a stressful time was so rewarding to see their results. Caila is very focused on nervous system regulation in patients. She believes that once a person can feel calm and safe, their healing will naturally follow. Caila has had very successful results at treating digestion, stress/ mental health, body pain, gynecological issues and fertility. Caila enjoys treating everything, but fertility is her passion. Caila has treated numerous women trying to conceive. This includes helping with pre and post IVF/ IUI, egg quality and count, PCOS/ Endo diagnosis, infertility and prenatal treatments. Caila offers free 15 minute consults to help explain how she can specifically help you!
What is the Pelvic Floor?
The pelvic floor muscles are a group of muscles that attach to the front, back and sides of the pelvic bone and sacrum, and include some of your glute muscles as well. The pelvic floor sits in the middle of your hips and low back, therefore it is important for the function of multiple joints in the area.

Maggie is a Certified Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist. She is specifically trained to treat multiple conditions related to the pelvic floor, including diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, stress and urinary incontinence, pelvic girdle pain, and core stabilization. Pelvic floor physiotherapy’s is also helpful with reducing symptoms related to endometriosis, and for rehab pre and post-hysterectomy.
